Information Technology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Information Technology Specialist to join our team and provide comprehensive IT support to church personnel and Catholic schools in the local Virginia Beach/Norfolk area. In this role, you will be responsible for desktop support, network maintenance, and working with technologies such as Office 365, OneDrive, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom. If you have a passion for working with church personnel and supporting educational institutions, enjoy troubleshooting IT issues, and are comfortable with travel, this position is perfect for you. Transportation and a vehicle will be provided.

Coordinator for the Offices of Human Resources and Safe Environment

The Human Resources (HR) & Safe Environment Coordinator provides operational, compliance, and administrative support to the Offices of Human Resources and Safe Environment, in support of diocesan employees and volunteers, to ensure full compliance with the USCCB’s Charter for the Protection of Children and Young People.

The coordinator ensures departmental processes and procedures are carried out in accordance with documented policy and all applicable laws for employees and volunteers. In this role, they will work closely with the Director of Safe Environment to assist with background checks and renewals. This role also provides secondary administrative support as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry. They are the primary point of contact for initial phone calls and into the Safe Environment mailbox and will triage as necessary.

The Director of The McMahon Parater Scholarship Foundation and Catholic School Development will oversee the administration of the Education Improvement Scholarships Tax Credit (EISTC) Program and the development efforts at the Diocesan Catholic Schools. This role will work with all Catholic Schools within the Diocese of Richmond that participate in the EISTC program in supporting their scholarship fundraising efforts and leading the centralized administration of the program. The Coordinator will oversee Diocesan Work Camp, a weeklong service opportunity for high school students, will assist with programs that the Office for Evangelization offers, and will oversee the implementation of the Diocesan Marriage Preparation Program (Unveiled).
